Gran Alacant

A relatively new town 15 km south of Alicante right by the sea on the Costa Blanca – wonderful, leave Alicante airport and 15 minutes later you’re approaching Gran Alacant and wind down time.

Gran Alacant beaches; Arenales del Sol are wide, long and sandy. The beaches are great fun for children of all ages and you will often see them running up and down the dunes before diving into the lovely clear blue med.

The properties are predominantly white or pastel in colour and with the bright blue of the sky as the back drop you will soon be in the holiday mood. It’s well worth taking a walk to the Clot de Galury nature reserve when you’ve had enough of the beach.

If you are looking for serious nightlife then you would really need to visit Alicante or Torrevieja further south as Gran Alacant really is more of a family meal and a few drinks in the local bar type of place – real chill out zone.

Whilst Gran Alacant is hilly in places there are plenty of properties on flat level plots with nice wide avenue walks to the local shops and amenities.

There are lots of complexes here to choose from and some very fine villas with fair size gardens and swimming pools. This is a great location if you want to be close enough to reach busy places but really want somewhere quiet for day to day living.
