Towns of South-East Spain - Costa Blanca North
Finestrat
Finestrat
town is a mountain (Puig Campana) village inland and Cala
Finestrat is a holiday town by the coast. Approximately 40
km north of Alicante off the A7.
There are spectacular views from Puig Campana, which is
1410 m high and the 2nd highest mountain in Alicante region.
Some wonderful new property developments are nestled in the
mountains.
There is a Moorish influence all around the area and this
has been captured by the architects of more recent projects.
There are plenty of local bars, restaurants and shops and
in the summer there's an art and crafts market in the afternoon
along the seafront and a weekly market away from the beach
throughout the year. 'La Marina' a very popular shopping complex
with a Carrefour and Lidl supermarket are close by –
if that’s not enough there is a vast range of amenities
under 5 km away in Benidorm.
There is an abundance of Golf
courses in the area and two more are to open near Finestrat
in the near future.
You will find quite a lot of new property in the area and
it’s being built with ‘space’ in mind so
the rural feel of the mountain village is certainly being
retained.
