Balsicas

20 minutes drive inland from the Mar Menor and San Javier airport you will find this typical small Spanish village named Balsicas. Just 40 km north of Cartegena and 34 km south east of Murcia. This really is a ‘get away from it all’ destination.

Plenty of wide open space and blue skies all around and certainly in the Parc Natural de Sierra Espuña, You cannot fail to unwind in the sleepy town away from the crowds but still easily accessible. The village has a local supermarket, a few bars and restaurants and some basic amenities and a railway station.

Horse riding is very popular in the area and Playa de Mojon beach is only 12 km away.

There are a number of new golf resorts being developed in the area so it is a place to focus on if you are looking for a good investment. Sierra Golf is a particularly nice development with an 18 hole golf course, smart club house and lots of useful amenities and shop in the commercial centre.
